Eijkelkamp 010102102 One-Piece Edelman All-Purpose Auger, 4"
Eijkelkamp One-Piece Edelman Auger, Combination TypeÂ
Augers are forged and welded by hand in the Netherlands. These durable steel augers are built with Eijkelkamp ingenuity and craftsmanship. Versatile, lightweight hand augers are easy to carry, require no assembly in the field and work well in all types of soil. The one-piece, welded construction wonât come apart during use and works best at depths down to 3â. The standard one-piece crossbar handle is welded to the steel shaft, which is then welded to the Auger at the bottom.
Single Edelman auger, combination type, 4" (10cm). This type of soil auger is by far the most used auger. The typical design of the Edelman auger allows for a minimum of friction during penetration into the soil, and the extraction of the auger from the soil, which means less physical effort. The combination auger type gets a reasonably good hold of sandy material while clayey material can be fairly easily removed from the auger body.
